Christmas 2008 (Part Three: Lubbock)

Christmas in Lubbock was wonderful. We started celebrating at Mom-mu and Grandad’s. It was really scaled back from what we are used to…most of the family stayed at home or spent it with their in-laws. Here are the greats that were at the festivities: Caden, Caitlyn, Cyla, Colten and Caleb. Yikes, that’s a mouthful! These are what Mom-mu calls her 5 C’s.
Gary went to celebrate Christmas Eve by going hunting. In the words of Allison, “nothing says Merry Christmas like killing a deer!”.

Here is Gary’s family at Christmas morning breakfast (please excuse the no make-up): Steve (Allison’s husband), Big Dad, Mone, Caleb, Allison (Gary’s sister), Gary (in case you didn’t recognize him) and me. Gary was paid an undisclosed amount to shave off his facial hair…this is the first time I have seen his face naked. It took 10 years off! And the next day he started growing the 10 years back on!

Caleb's first piano lesson with LoLo. He's a natural!

Caleb loves his Mone. He might have replaced Gary as Mone's favorite boy...
Caleb and his new (much bigger) car seat! Yea! Thank you LoLo and Big Dad!

Caleb is still loving the bows!
